CENTENNIAL FLAG CONTEST

WINNING DESIGN ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to Michele Zosulis, Education Training and Recognition Coordinator at Pine Run Retirement Community, for winning the Centennial Flag Design Contest.
As part of Doylestown Health’s Centennial year celebrations, a dozen creative and meaningful flag designs were submitted by our Associates, Med Staff, and Volunteers. The Doylestown Health Centennial Committee voted for the top three finalists based on the following criteria: concept, design, creativity, overall aesthetic, and relevancy. Members of the Village Improvement Association selected the winning design.
The Centennial flag will be raised as part of the Founder’s Day celebrations on Monday, October 9, 2023, marking the 100th anniversary of the original dedication of the Doylestown Emergency Hospital in 1923. The contest winner will receive a flag with their design and recognition for their accomplishment during the ceremony.

Title: 100 Years of Healing: A Flag Tribute to Our Hospital's Legacy

Description: The flag designed for the 100th anniversary of the hospital features an image of the first hospital building set against a backdrop of the hospital’s signature colors. In addition to the iconic building, the flag also incorporates images of people, representing the hospital’s commitment to providing compassionate care to the community it serves. This flag serves as a tribute to the hospital’s rich history and its ongoing mission to improve the health and well-being of its patients.
Special thanks to all who participated in the contest. All Centennial Flag Design submissions will be displayed in the ArtWalk gallery of Doylestown Hospital from June 1 through August 30, 2023.
